Why we make this

Punjabi is a language full of rhythm — it was practically built for children's songs.

Playtime Punjabi exists so kids growing up far from Punjab, or simply growing up busy, still get to hear it. Every video is made to entertain first and teach quietly: the language, the sounds, and the stories come along for the ride.

Bright colours, friendly characters, and songs short enough to learn by the second listen.

  • Punjabi kids' songs
  • Sikh nursery rhymes
  • Children's rhymes & poems
  • Animated stories
  • Baby & toddler rhymes

For parents

Made to be safe

Gentle pacing, positive themes and nothing startling. Content is written for young children first, and checked with parents in mind.

Language without lessons

No drills or flashcards. Kids pick up Punjabi words the way they pick up any song — by wanting to sing it again.

Short enough for a car ride

Most rhymes run a few minutes. Compilations are there for the longer stretches when you need them.

Always free

Everything lives on YouTube, free to watch, on whatever screen is nearest.
